We have upgraded our blog to a new system which has much more extensive capabilities and is more of a "social networking site" than our previous blog.
We will leave both blogs operational for the time being, but hope you will visit our new blog and register and begin writing you own blog as well as interacting with others! The basic concept of this blog is to facilitate connections between individuals affected by cancer and allowing us to get to know each other, share our experiences to help each other to heal.
You can choose how much "personal information" anyone can see about you.... choose a handle which leaves you completely anonymous or put yoru name right out there. You can view others "profiles" (as much informatiuon as they are also willing to share) and find others with similar pathologies, interests, geographic location, survivorship, caregivers and then learn from each other how they have dealt with certain things.
The system allows you to contact them through email (provided they allow the contact) and share outside of the system as well.
Wouldn't it be GREAT to KNOW you are not ALONE in how you feel or what you are dealing with? Wouldn't you like to get support from a community of others just like your self, who know what y ou are going through... AND wouldn't you like to HELP OTHERS get through what YOU had to go through?
