Cancer Advocates Coalition is a collaboration of northeastern delegates who attended the Lance Armstrong LiveSTRONG Summit.
Our mission is to organize, educate, empower, inspire and motivate cancer survivors, caregivers, health care providers, elected officials, advocates, and other stakeholders throughout the region.
Our goal is to collectively make a difference through our efforts, the sharing of our knowledge, experiences and actions at a grass roots level. We will make a significant difference in cancer survivors’ experiences, treatment, outcomes and positively affect people’s lives.
We are guided by the underlying principles of the Lance Armstrong Foundation:
“We believe that unity is strength, knowledge is power and attitude is everything.”

If You Are a Cancer Survivor, Tell Us What You Need!
The New Hampshire Comprehensive Cancer Plan, Cancer in NH: A Call to Action seeks to improve the lives of cancer survivors by reducing the many challenges they face. For the next four months, eleven cancer clinics around the state are conducting a confidential, web-based Cancer Survivor Needs Assessment Survey, to ask cancer survivors about what supports they need in order to survive and thrive.
The National Cancer Institute (NCI) defines a cancer survivor as anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer; or anyone who has cared for someone with cancer. Let your voice be heard and tell us what you need to help meet the needs of cancer survivors and those who care for them.
People with cancer and those who care for them are able to complete the survey if they are:
18 years or older.
Diagnosed with any kind of cancer type and/or have cared for someone with cancer.
Able to read and write English, or if unable to read and or write English, they can use a professional interpreter (through their local hospital or clinic) who can help complete the survey.
Willing to complete the survey using the internet either on their own or with help.
Participate in this survey NOW - Click Here. Let your voice be heard!
This project is being funded by Dartmouth's Center for Clinical Translational Science.
